Ice Cream Sandwich Making!

What a great way to end the week, by making our own ice cream sandwiches!

Ingredients:

chocolate or honey graham crackers

vanilla ice cream

Strawberries (optional)

almond slivers (optional...we do not have any peanut allergies this year!)

1. each child who wanted strawberries on their sandwich sliced 1 strawberry with a butter knife.

2. 1 graham cracker cut/broken in half.

3. one scoop of cream on top of one half of graham cracker

4. add optional strawberries on top of ice cream.

5. place second piece of graham cracker on top

6. roll sides of sandwich over a plate of the almond slivers.....Ok, ok that was a teacher treat!
